How to use
To translate text to Morse code, choose “To Morse” and type — letters, numbers and punctuation are supported. To decode, choose “From Morse” and paste the dots and dashes.
The “Play” button sounds the code out at 18 words per minute on a 600 Hz tone — the way Morse is learned by ear.
Letters are separated by a space and words by a slash /. You can also paste · and — instead of dots and dashes.

FAQ
Why is SOS used as the distress signal? Not because it stands for anything — three dots, three dashes, three dots is simply easy to send and hard to mistake.
What’s the timing in real Morse? A dash is three dots long; letters are separated by a gap of three dots and words by seven.
Is Morse code a cipher? No — it’s a public code with no key. For simple encryption, try the Caesar cipher.
