How to use
Choose how to resize — by width, by height, to fit in a box or by percentage — then add photos: drag them in, pick them from your device or paste from the clipboard. The aspect ratio is always kept, so nothing gets stretched. Process several files at once and download them one by one or as a ZIP.
For an exact size — a 1080 × 1080 square for social media, an avatar, a 1920 × 1080 cover — choose “Exact width × height”: the edges are cropped and the center is kept. With “Don’t enlarge smaller images” enabled, the result may be smaller than the requested dimensions.
Images are processed right in your browser and never uploaded.
Examples
- A 4032 × 3024 phone photo resized to 1280 px wide → 1280 × 960: good for websites, email and online marketplaces.
- “Fit in a box” 1080 × 1080: a 4000 × 2000 landscape becomes 1080 × 540, a 2000 × 4000 portrait becomes 540 × 1080.
- 50% of 3000 × 2000 → 1500 × 1000.
FAQ
Will quality suffer? Downsized images stay sharp: the browser scales them in several steps to avoid jagged edges. Enlarging can’t add detail, so by default smaller images aren’t upscaled.
Which format should I pick? “Same as original” keeps JPG as JPG and PNG as PNG. For the web, WebP is usually better — lighter than JPG at the same quality. For the smallest files, run the result through the image compressor.
Is metadata (date, camera, GPS) kept? No, it isn’t carried over. To remove metadata without changing the image, use the EXIF remover.
My phone photo came out rotated? Rotation stored in the metadata is applied, so the result looks the same as in your gallery.
