How to use
Pick a start date and an end date. You’ll instantly see the number of days, weeks and weekdays (Monday to Friday) between them.
Should the end date be included?
By default the calculator returns the difference between the dates: from the 1st to the 2nd is 1 day. If you need every day of a period counted (a vacation, a hotel stay, a project duration), turn on “Include end date” — then the 1st to the 2nd counts as 2 days.
Examples
- January 1 to December 31, 2026 — 364 days; with the end date included, 365 days and 261 weekdays.
- October 19, 2026 to New Year’s Day — 74 days.
- November 2 to November 30, 2026 without the end date — 28 days, 20 of them weekdays.
FAQ
Are public holidays excluded? No, weekdays are simply Monday through Friday. Holidays are not taken into account.
What if the end date is before the start date? The result is negative — that’s how many days ago the date was.
Are leap years handled? Yes, February 29 counts as a normal day.
